Boylotion + support: Plastik Noir

Boylotion: 

Boylotion krabber frem fra Bergens regntunge smug og allmenninger for å servere en kald cocktail av post punk, goth og shoegaze. Med glitrende gitarer, melodisk bass og drivende trommemaskin står bandet med en fot plantet tidlig på 80-tallet, mens den andre strekker seg mot fremtiden. Vokalist Isak Meland topper lydbildet med mørk og lengtende jamring om kjærlighet, frykt og underkastelse. 

Etter konsert på VillVillVest, oppvarming for Kristi Brud og gode anmeldelser på debuttsingelen “End Things” gleder Boylotion seg til å ta fatt på Kvarteret.

Plastik Noir:

Emerging from the mist-laden city of Bergen, Norway, Plastik Noir is a Dark Wave duo born in October 2024. Enshrouded in shadow and bound by a deep, personal connection, the pair found solace and inspiration in the melancholic beauty of dark music. Their shared love both for each other and for the haunting soundscapes that define their genre, ignited a creative flame that could not be ignored.

Plastik Noir crafts music that evokes the twilight between dream and nightmare. Their sound is a spectral fusion of ethereal synths, bone-dry basslines, and pulsating, danceable beats, all crowned by vocals that echo with longing and spectral melancholy. Each track is a descent into emotional depths, a dance with darkness, and an ode to the beauty found in sorrow.

Their music is not merely heard, it is felt, like a whispered secret in the dead of night.
